- Can I use the range if I’m not a member?
- Yes, we are open to the public.
- Do I have to have a Permit to Carry?
- This is a private facility. You do not have to have Permit to Carry to shoot here.
- Why can’t I bring my own ammo into the range?
- Due to liability reasons, only approved and purchased ammo from Dead On Arms can be used on the range.
- How much is your range ammo?
- You can find our range ammo prices here (our range ammunition is sold at or below other local ammunition dealers price).
- What is the difference between .223 Rem & 5.56x45MM? What about the difference between.308 WIN & 7.62x51MM?

- How much does an FFL transfer cost?
- An FFL transfer is $50 per firearm for a non-member.

- What are the range safety rules?
- You can find the range safety rules listed here, and they are also listed inside the range as well as in our retail area.
- Am I allowed to bring my own firearm?
- Yes. (up to .50 caliber handgun or .338 Lapua rifle is allowed inside the range).
- Can kids shoot?
- Yes. Youth 17 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Sundays kids for shoot for free with a paid adult.
- I’m having trouble registering for classes, what can I do?
- You can simply email: info@deadonshootingrange.com or call (218) 729-9689, and we would be happy to assist you. (if you have a smart device turn it sideways to see the calendar)
- When are your Permit to Carry/Permit Holder(renewal) classes?
- Permit to Carry & Holders classes are found on our calendar. Email info@deadonshootingrange.com or call 218-729-9689 to register. We do offer private and one-on-one classes. You may find the schedule here and pick which day and time works best for you.
- Do you have women’s’ only firearm classes?
